- The mission of the Ark Animal Sanctuary, a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization, is to rescue and provide food, shelter, medical assistance, love and compassion to any animal in need regardless of age and medical condition when there are no options remaining for the animal's safe-keeping. AAS is an all-volunteer organization that receives no contractual funding. All monies received come from generous donors, fundraisers and grants. We believe that every animal’s life is meaningful and they all deserve loving homes.
